Stephanie Asteriadis,  M.A. C.P.S. Coordinator

 

Stephanie Asteriadis has been with the NPRC since its inception in 1998 and provides general administration and oversight of the NPRC. Her Master’s degree is in Counseling and Educational Psychology in college Student Development and she has maintained a Prevention Specialist Certification in Oregon since 2001. She has been a member of SALIS since 1998 and is a Past Chair. She has been a member of CSAP’s National RADAR Network Steering Committee and is a Past Chair. In addition to ten years experience managing the NPRC program, Ms. Asteriadis was Primary Investigator of a three-year state-funded substance abuse prevention grant for the UNR campus and has been Primary Investigator for two state-funded Problem Gambling Prevention grants.

   
Marie Tully, M.Ed. Library Technician I
Marie Tully is the NPRC’s main librarian and manages the clearinghouse database and materials distribution.  She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Music and a minor in Information Resources and Library Sciences, and utilizes that knowledge to organize, catalog, and disseminate information to patrons. Marie also holds a Master's in Elementary Education with certification in educational Technology and as a school and public librarian in Nevada. She coordinates multiple databases and online sources to provide patrons with current information and produces the NPRC Update E-Bulletin. Prior to becoming a member of the NPRC staff, she worked in the cataloging department of the Getchell Library of the University of Nevada, Reno. Marie is a member of SALIS and the Nevada Library Association. She has attended the National Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training and holds a Nevada Substitute Teaching License.
